This is such a phenomenon book. Ayn Rand’s philosophy perhaps has inspired generations of the American greats. However, by focusing on ego and personal creativity, this idea might create effect of ignoring the rest of the ordinary people (which are always the major), consequently that means ignoring the welfare of most people in the world, hence ignoring humanity. Nevertheless, it is understandable and that’s the reason why great people are usually lonely. After this book, I’ve developed a different views on extraordinary people, mostly artists and politicians, such as Donald Trump, Madonna, Lady Gaga. I can understand their views about the world a little more. Certainly they are great people.
